I'm a huge fan of Martha Cheves and I think I've made every single recipe in her LAUGH, STIR, REPEAT cookbook. The recipes in all her cookbooks are simple, delicious and have a certain flair that makes them "keepers." I own dozens of cookbooks, but LAUGH, STIR, REPEAT is the only one I keep on my kitchen counter. But now I have a new love!! I was so pleased to discover that Martha has come out with a new book, combining her fabulous book reviews with new recipes from some well known authors. In the interest of full discolosure, I was flattered to see that all three titles of my Talk Radio Mysteries are included in this new volume. This is a wonderful collection of recipes; you'll find everything from mouth-watering desserts (who could resist Peach Cobbler, or Hot Fudge Pudding Cake?) to famly dinner favorites like Lasagna Chicken Enchiladas from the beloved mystery writer, Carolyn Hart. As always, Martha knows when to stick to the classics and when to jazz things up. The Pumpkin Pancakes are excellent, and I never would have thought of combining those two ingredients. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who loves books, loves cooking and loves great food!Product details

Three cheers for Martha Cheves who has created a book possibly like no other. The idea of combining each of her wonderfully informative book reviews with an accompanying recipe for each one, is so innovative, it is almost revolutionary, for here is something for everyone. Read the review, buy the book and at the same time create some wonderful meals using Martha's brilliant and easy to follow recipes.On top of that, it's all in a good cause too. Bravo, Martha on a masterpiece of culinary delights and a wonderfully mixed selection of great reviews.
